Here Hollowfarm HQ we have a variety of farm animals including pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, equines and cows; along with domestic animals including dogs and smaller rabbit and cavy varieties along with multiple beehives as our long standing regulars.
Due to the nature of farming, breeding, educating, showing livestock and Carrie-Anne’s tendency to take in waifs and strays, our regulars find themselves with extra company throughout the year.
Running as an active smallholding, we not only show our livestock but also work on the farm’s capability to fulfill an educational and social benefit. This in turn ensures that every animal under our care is extremely sociable, easy to work around and enjoys human contact. From this is only a short jump into show casing their wonderfully versatile personalities on screen.
We work to the highest welfare standards across all aspects from training, socialization, feeding, housing and stimulation.
We also work with a wide range of animals specialists in their own field including reptilian, birds of prey, owls, equines and other exotics.
We can also recommend The Vet on Set NI for all productions across NI. Rachel Robertson, Vet on Set NI, has a wealth of experience in large, small and exotic animal care and is a valued member on any production in ensuring all animals are ready and fit for work.
